32 Degrees, and one of the hottest days of the year, but wow, what a wedding this was, not only because we got to share the day with the lovely Chris and Andrea, but also because we got to shoot at the hottest new venue in Surrey- Botley Hill Barn!
Botley Hill Barn opened this summer, and we were really privileged to shoot this, their second ever wedding. Set amidst grounds with stunning views over the North Downs, Botley Hill Barn features one of the most stunning barns we have ever seen (check out the photos below to see what we mean). On a sunny day like this, you can get stunning portraits during the Golden Hour- words don’t really do it justice! There’s a lot more to come from this stunning venue in the coming months including the addition of luxury shepherd huts for accommodation. Here’s how Botley Hill Barn describe the huts:
“Each hut has been hand-crafted in Somerset to our own specification, with stunning interiors in a Shaker-style theme and painted in Farrow & Ball colours. Solid oak flooring and worktops add to the sense of luxury and sheep’s wool insulation keeps the huts cool in the summer and warm in the winter.”
If you are undecided about your choice of venue this place has to be on your shortlist!
It was also great to work alongside Kalm Kitchen again, who are one of the best caterers in the wedding industry. It was also lovely to meet DJ and Master of Ceremonies Alan Marshall– a really great guy and true pro.
We hope you like this selection of photos from Chris and Andrea’s wedding. We’re really excited to shoot more weddings at Botley Hill Barn (our next one is in Spring).
