Tewin Bury Farm Winter Wedding

The nature of being wedding photographers is that you often have to travel a little around the country. We love this aspect of the job, and get excited about the prospect of shooting weddings across the Home Counties and beyond. For this particular winter wedding we travelled up to Hertfordshire to the very lovely venue of Tewin Bury Farm. Its a stunning venue that features a 17th century farmhouse and a number of other converted farm buildings, all of which are surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. In fact there are actually 4 separate locations in Tewin Bury Farm where you can get married. It’s not often that you get that kind of personalisation with a wedding! Jamie and Lucy chose the Stable for their wedding, and this location really suited the warm and homely feeling of their winter wedding.

Jamie and Lucy are a really lovely couple. We actually photographed the wedding of Jamie’s best man, Greg (and his lovely wife Laura) in 2013, and were delighted when we were recommended by them. We find that this is how we get a lot of our wedding bookings now, and it’s lovely to see our previous clients at other weddings! In this short selection of photos you will see some of our highlights of the day- these included a sequence where Jamie and Lucy’s magician worked his magic with them, and also a couple of portraits that were a little different. The first of these featured giant illuminated “J’ and “L’ signs and the second featured a portrait where we painted the word ‘love’ with a sparkler.
