A Beautiful Kent Life wedding
It’s very difficult to put into words just how fun and special Bex and Ian’s wedding was to shoot for us personally. Matt has been a good family friend of Rebecca and her lovely family for over 30 years, and went to school with her brother Paul. To say we have a soft spot for this family, including Bex’s wonderful mum Linda and stepdad Dallas, would be an under-statement. So you can imagine, it was both a real privilege and responsibility when we were asked to shoot their wedding in August this year.
Bex and Ian are such a good laugh. We did a pre-wedding shoot for them earlier in the summer, and had a blast doing it. It seriously felt like playing around, so we knew the wedding was going to be a LOT of fun. We weren’t disappointed. Kent Life, near Maidstone in Kent, is a living museum which offers visitors a collection of historically accurate buildings depicting Life in Kent during the twentieth century. The eclectic nature of the museum makes for a really wonderful setting for a wedding. From the perspective of taking portraits, it’s a photographers dream.
We really hope you like this selection of photos from their wedding. It was pretty much impossible to keep it below 100 photos. Enjoy!
